Dear Friends,
We had a wonderful time in Uppsala, Sweden, on April 27-28. Pastor Joakin Lundvquist, and his youth pastor, Sebastian, host the first meeting of the European Youth Pastors Chapter.
The meeting was a great blessing. We had pastors from Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, England, Portugal and Ukraine. There is a great excitement inside the network with the Global Youth Movement. The European Chapter is the newest of the several regional chapters of the GKPN – Youth.
Among the many good news, one is really outstanding: The group decided to organize themselves in two sections: The West European Side, and the East European group. This is really important because of the language and cultural distinctions between the two blocks.
In the upcoming days, I will be in Kiev for a planning meeting with the youth pastors from the East European section of the chapter. We are scheduling their first meeting for Minsk, on April 2017, and aiming for a very good of youth pastors from Uzbekistan, Arzebaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
The West side of the Chapter will also meet again in April 2017, in Lisbon, and we are planning for bringing pastors from Portugal, Spain, England, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy, France, Germany, Beligium, the Netherlands, and Scotland.
Please, pray for them.
Elias
